Why is nighttime bad for heartburn?

Chronic heartburn or nighttime heartburn is a condition that seems to be the worst. The attacks are very painful, more than most heartburn, and, as luck would have it, they can last a very long time. You may even think that you are experiencing a heart attack. It's very unplesant, laying there in bed aware that you are having sharp pains in your chest, and havung difficulty catching your breath.

It's hard to determine whether you are having a heart attack or if it's just heartburn, you may want to consult medical attention either way. It is no laughing matter because it is very serious. Extreme pain from a heartburn is your stomach sending an urgent message.. If you leave it, go undiagnosed your pain will only get worse and worse.
