At some point in our lives, we will get heartburn. The effects could just be mild pain or it could be very painful and happen often. The symptoms are easy to relieve, but there is no medication that will stop heartburn from happening completely. If you have frequent heartburn, you may find that a heartburn ulcer may develop.

A heartburn ulcer is when the esophagus's lining deteriorates because of all the stomach acid that repeated enters the esophagus. The corrosive will literally burn a hole through your esophagus leaving a very painful ulcer. Heartburn ulcers can be found in the lower part of your esophagus and can be connect to GERD disease, which is chronic reflux disease.
